OpenAI says GPT-6 Astra may mark the start of the AGI era. Your Tuesday post can still fail for the same reason: impressive numbers are not the same as useful evidence.
On September 3, 2026, OpenAI announced GPT-6 Astra and described it as a major step in model capability, while its launch materials highlighted strong benchmark results. Those benchmarks are evidence of tested performance, not automatic proof that every real-world use works the same way. ([openai.com](https://openai.com/index/gpt-6-astra/?utm_source=openai))
Your content needs the same distinction. Likes and reach show attention. They do not, by themselves, tell you which format deserves another place in next week's plan.
Run this audit on Sunday night. Gather the last 4 weeks of captions and insights screenshots. For every post, calculate saves divided by reach, then check whether the comments contain actual questions.
Use this as your working rule: above roughly 5% saves-to-reach plus question comments means repeat the format. High likes with near-zero saves means drop the format. Everything else stays unclassified until the missing evidence is checked.
Map every confirmed repeat format to one open slot in next week's plan. Use at least 4 consistent weeks; with fewer posts, label the result provisional rather than forcing a conclusion.
Hypothetical example: a recipe reel has 200 saves from 2,000 reach, or 10%, but no question comments are recorded, so it is not yet confirmed as a repeat. A team photo has 150 likes, 2 saves and 1,800 reach, so mark it drop, low commitment. A discount post has 5 question comments but only 5 saves from 900 reach, so it does not pass the repeat rule. A before-and-after cake post has 300 saves from 2,400 reach, or 12.5%, but its comments are not recorded as questions, so it remains unconfirmed.
Your final output is a shortlist of up to 3 repeat formats and up to 1 format to retire. If fewer qualify, keep the shortlist shorter. Do not promote an unqualified format just to fill a target.
Save this and run it on your last 4 weeks of posts.
